1985
Cremona, 26-27 October:
1st FdCA Congress
- Unification of the Organizzazione Rivoluzionaria Anarchica
(Revolutionary Anarchist Organization - ORA) and the
Unione Comunisti Anarchici Toscani (Union of Tuscan Anarchist
Communists - UCAT)
- Adoption of a joint theoretical and strategic heritage
- Decision made to use the name ORA-UCAT for one year
- Council of Delegates elected
- National Secretariat of 3 members from Lucca, Florence and Pesaro
- Sections and members in Tuscany, Lombardy, Apulia,
Marches and Veneto.
- The Coordinamento Comunista Anarchico (Anarchist
Communist Coalition - CCA) of Fano, which had participated in the
pre-unification debates and process, decides not to join the new
organization. It would later become the Circolo Culturale Papini,
some of whose members were also FdCA members, and was responsible for the
organization of a series of anti-clerical meetings in Fano until 1997.
1986

- Adoption of the name Federazione dei Comunisti Anarchici
(Federation of Anarchist Communists - FdCA)
- Political Strategy
- Adoption of the Statute and
Internal Regulations

libertaria" chosen as the FdCA's magazine.
- Election of Council of Delegates according to Statute.
- National Secretariat of 3 members from Lucca, Florence and Pesaro.
- Sections and members in Tuscany, Lombardy, Apulia, Marches, Veneto and Piedmont.
- Greetings to Congress from the Partito Anarchico Italiano
and the
Lega Comunista Rivoluzionaria.
1992
Livorno, March:
3rd FdCA Congress
- Unification of FdCA and Organizzazione Comunista Libertaria
(Libertarian Communist Organization - OCL) of Livorno, which becomes an FdCA section
- The Livorno magazine "Comunismo
Libertario" becomes the official organ of the FdCA
- National Secretariat to publish "Agenzia di
informazione"
- Approval of documents of Political Strategy
on:
- The state of International Capitalism
- Anarchist Communists and the Mass
Organization
- Anarchist Communism in Italy in the last
20 years
- The environmental crisis and capitalist

4th FdCA Congress
- Political Strategy Congress. Documents adopted by majority vote:

- Election of Council of Delegates
- National Secretariat of 4 members from Florence, Pisa and
Pesaro.

1994
Florence, 9 October: Extraordinary Congress of the FdCA
- The members of the Livorno, Lucca and Pisa Sections leave the FdCA. A majority of the Congress defeats the proposal from these Sections to transform the FdCA into a federation of synthesis without theoretical and strategic unity and collective responsibility. The magazine
"Comunismo Libertario" remains with the Sections which leave, the majority of whose members join the FAI over the next few years.
- The Council of Delegates is deactivated

1997
Florence, 13-14 December:
5th FdCA Congress
- Congress of the Minimum Programme of the Anarchist Communists, containing elements of Political Strategy and General Tactics (Congressional documents published in
Quaderni di Alternativa Libertaria)
- "Alternativa Libertaria" is adopted as the official monthly organ of the FdCA
- Council of Delegates is reactivated
- National Secretariat of 3 members from Florence and
Pesaro
- Sections and members in Tuscany, Lombardy, Marches and
Friuli.
- Observers from the CPA, Florence and the
Circolo Zapata, Pordenone.

Libertaria" is adopted as the online news-sheet of the FdCA
- Election of the Labour Commission, Ethics
& Gender Policies Commission and the International Relations Office
